Let’s get to it! My goal for the week was to get my kilometrage back into the 30s, as a bare minimum. Did I succeed? Read on to find out!
Sunday, march 17
I had a great workout with adidas Runners! Today’s run was an interval workout: 1.5km warm-up 4 repeats of the following 2 min @ 5:30min/km, 1:30 rest 3min @ 5:30min/km, 1:30 rest 1/3km cool down, mostly because I wanted to end the workout exactly at 7km.
monday, march 18
adidas Runners chose to have a costume run + Purim party tonight…which I decided to skip. Instead, my boyfriend and I went to see How to Train Your Dragon 3. It was cute, but not as good as the first two.
tuesday, march 19
I was all prepared to go to the adidas Runners workout…but I forgot my running socks at home…so instead I went home and ran from there. I ran 10km total: 1.5km warm-up 7km pushing the pace 1.5km cool down
I ended the run sweaty and happy with my efforts…but not happy with the chaffing on my left arm, cause by my shirt. Tel Aviv Half Marathon, I no longer like your shirt!
wednesday, march 20
Purim! Instead of running, I danced the night away…until about midnight, when I had to pee, and decided I’d prefer to do this from the comfort of my apartment.
thursday, march 21
…and then I spent today, recovering.
friday, march 22
Today, I officially moved in with my boyfriend! I say “officially” because now all of my stuff is there. In addition to moving my suitcases, we spent the afternoon walking around Tel Aviv, checking out the costumes. Not gonna lie, most were underwhelming, and I am officially burned out from Purim.
saturday, march 23
My boyfriend had to work, so I spent some time updating my blog with this post about Purim, and relaxing.
Total distance: 17km
I didn’t run much this week…and this was the first weekend in over a month where I didn’t run any races! Next week will definitely be more eventful running-wise, as adidas Runners is doing a virtual race (with real world prizes), and I’m looking forward to it!
